I recently completed this small piece. It measures 17"x20" and I believe it's the smallest piece I've done in a long time. I forgot how quickly a little scene like this can come together on a smaller scale. I want to make more!
As far as the meaning that I'm hoping to convey in this piece.... I like juxtapositioning two characters like this because there are so many ways to interpret their interaction, especially when physical gestures or facial expression come into play. I'm very interested to hear what others read into pieces like this, so please leave me a comment and let me know what you think is going on here.
